I came to school today sporting a tie. I attracted many whistles from my male classmates. But it turns out all the dressing up I did was for not. I was going to be meeting with two clinic clients, but one canceled and the other was assigned to somebody else. Therefore, I am left all dressed up, but no place to go.
I'm stoked because Rachel and I planned our meals for this week and tonight we are lucky enough to have hamburgers and hashbrowns, I've been thinking about this all day long.
We have our intramural basketball team all set. Several different teams were formed amongst our group, and as far as I know, no feelings were hurt. This is a first in intramural sports history.
That's all I got for today....

Not quite ready for prime time

We now have a digital camera. The only problem is we have nothing to take pictures of. Here, I took a picture of my computer. It is beautiful, I'll write it a note.
Dear computer,
Please don't break.
Love,
Brett
I was hoping this semester would be really easy...doesn't look like that will happen. I'm having a hard time consentrating on this entry because Rachel is cooking some potent stuff. She even bought cumin for it, so at $4.50 a bottle it better be good. What is it, flakes of gold?
And in conclusion, let's see if this works.

Tigers in 3?

I would like to congratulate the Tigers on making it to the playoffs. Although they are currently the worst team in the majors (as evidenced by being swept by the Royals), at one point they were the best team. And if the powers that be would have cut the baseball season in half, and held the world series in July then they would be the champions.
Barring any plane crashes involving the Yankees entire team, things don't look good. So I will now predict the Tigers to sweep the Yankees.

riddles in the dark
Rachel was at work, so of course I was doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. It was around 9:00 pm, and was dark outside and inside (except in the kitchen). All of a sudden I heard a crack from the other room, like something fell. I looked around the corner, but didn't see anything. All of a sudden a heard this voice from far away say "hello". I looked around and didn't see anything or anyone. But I said, "hello", not thinking anybody was really there. But then the voice responds. It was weird.
Turns out, my phone was on vibrate. Rachel called and I didn't hear it but it vibrated off of the table. That was the crack I heard. It fell off of the table onto the hard floor. When it fell it opened up, so it answered her call. Plus, by speaker phone was on. So when she said hello it was loud enough for me to easily hear it. So it turned out to not be a ghost. That's good news.

my next posting

I tried to take my own picture of the lake. Tried to copy that other picture that I posted. But these two nerds got in the way.
We're enjoying it here in Sandpoint. We live just north of town. We're next door to the county fairgrounds, which is next door to the county jail, which is next door to the Arian Nation church.
We hooked ourselves up with free bikes. Left over police-auction bikes. I've been riding to and from Walmart about everyday.
Our ward is having a 4th of July breakfast tomorrow. The catch is that it is at 7:00 am. No, that's not a typo. I was sure they were kidding when they announced that. But turns out it is true.
