Brett said to just "leave it alone" but I just can't help myself.
Today we finally have not-a-white-man president. I like white men. I married one. However, I do understand a need for diversity for the sake of unity. So it's not so much for myself I am excited as I am for Marie.
I didn't vote for Obama. I will say, however, that there were plenty of Obama bumper stickers next to Yes on 8 stickers. Who am I to disturb that?
This is how progress goes though, I think. You get a little of what you need, but not all of it. I got "my Black President" but I didn't get my "perfect President." Granted, I will never get a perfect President, but at least someone close to "my way" of thinking. But still, this is progress.
In other news, how are your Resolutions coming? Mine are just fine.
I would like to announce I have read "Leadership and Self Deception" and if you can read, you need to read it too. In the book, though, it tells you not to find other people you "think" need to read it, but hey- its a good book. Read it.
That is all. Also, Joe you still owe me $5.23.

mike's reading the book right now, then it's my turn. we'll see.
That book sounds boring. It's not boring? If I read it and it's boring, you owe me something. I don't know what. But something.
I'm with Carrie :)
Let me know if that bit about being owed money pays off. I might start adding that to each post I make, regardless of whether I am owed money or not - Cha Ching!
It's a good book! Basically it's about being nice to people, in non-gospel terms. A "politically correct" way of telling people not to be self absorbed. It's a bit repitious, but it just helps drill in the point- don't be a jerk store. And non of you are jerk stores so maybe you will find it boring...
