So I have been really mean lately...

So I have been really mean lately. Maybe more stupid. Probably both. I don't know whats in the water but I want to slap everyone I meet. But thats mostly people who come into Subway. I wish I could slap them after I ask them each question about their sandwich if they dont immediately reply. "Six inch or a foot long? ... I said six in or a food long?" WHACK!
problem solved.

I think am experiencing serious career burnout. Oh well, it was a good 3 months of discounted sandwiches.

But thats not all I have been bad about. I have been really mean to Brett lately and I just wanted to publicly appologize.

I am really sorry for being very insensitive.

There. That feels better. So now to reassure myself why Brett and I are together I will proceed to list the reasons he likes me.
1. I lied to him and told him I like sports as much as he does
2. I can eat more than him (and most people)
3. I don't discourage the dipping of the cheese sandwich into hot chocolate (but I don't encourage it either)
4. I'm a girl
5. I'm alot like George Castanza, and Brett likes him too
Now a list of reasons why I am like George Castanza
1. We are both stingy
2. We both have big wallets
3. I almost picked something out of the trash the other day at work... like when George ate the maple bar out of the garbage (don't worry, I stopped myself and told myself that was NOT ok and I didnt have to go to such measures)
4. We both told people that we had careers in something we did not
George= architect
Rachel= accountant (thats another story)

to be continued....

Rachel, with hard work and dedication you will one day be more like George. If you work at it you will be able to walk up to that food and pick it out of the trash. Don't beat yourself up about it, you'll get there if you try. As Doug says on the back of the chocolate milk carton in high school, "You can do it if you try." I always encourage eating out of the trash as a good way to save money on food.

Do you discourage the mixing of potatoes and corn? I have learned from Brett and decided that is quite delicious.

Has Brett told you he also likes to dip grilled cheese in ketchup/catsup?

Plus, making a subcategory list off of the primary list is genius. I'm going to have to include that in my repet... in my things I do all the time.

Matt: you remember doug to? awesome. plus a thousand points.

Steph: i do concur, potatoes and corn are a delight. seperate- not so much, but they are proof that two wrongs make a right.

bubs: kudos on the flexibility of the ketchup/catsup word choice. you never know what people will accept.
and no, thats gross.
i am surely a fan of the subcategories...
and when is Ange going to start blogging???????

I think Ange is anti-Blog, which I guess makes me an anti anti bloggite.
I can't take credit for the Ketchup/Catsup good one. That goes to Mr. Burns.

Rachel, your giving Matt "plus a thousand points" reminds me of how when Matt was little he actually had a real chart and would allocate "good points" and "bad points". A thousand is a lot of points and I know Matt appreciates that.

For the record, Grilled cheese is delicious in ketchup/catsup, hot chocolate, fry sauce & tomato soup... not necessarily at the same time.

Another example of two wrongs making a right: popcorn and candy corn. Matt knows what I'm talking about.

For the record Brett, when I was little I did not give out "good points" and "bad points." My system used "good marks" and bad marks." Huge difference. I don't think that mixing corn and potatoes or mixing popcorn and candycorn are examples of two wrongs making a right rather they are both examples of two rights making a more right.

Tomato soup? Leave it to Steph.

I believe I've mentioned Matt's charts in one of my posts before, but I cannot stress how funny that whole thing was.

Plus, I'd always go for the low score, which meant no 11 month old halloween candy for me.

Since when was Brett credited for the Corn on mashed potatoes? Dewwitt!
