I would like to thank Mike Smith!

Most women my age spend their craft  time making cute hair bows for their girls, or really cool photo albums. I choose to make reasonably priced fabric into "newish" looking couches.
It took only 3 months, but I coverd 2 couches and a large chair. Yee haw! All with a cheap sewing machine.

I would like to take a moment to thank Mike Smith, for giving me practice on making him couch cushion covers several years ago, and my dad for driving me to JoAnns, and all the ramp agents who had to unwittingly carry a 75lb bag of fabric onto the plane that got me back to Japan last May.

I'm not sure how I feel about how the smaller chair turned out.
Let's just say it's a conversation piece.

Good job! I'm in process of painting a dining/china hutch right now. It's a lot more work than I thought and I don't think I will plan on doing it again for a long time/if ever.
