The Doctor called with results for Marie. I know you've been waiting on pins and needles. Not. I actually forgot about it for a week, but I'm glad he called.
She:
1. Is free of Turner's Syndrome.
2. has normal liver function.
3. Has a normal Chromosome count
4. Is not anemic
Hopefully she just gets to be super petite all her life. I would love that for her. She may not have her mother's man-hands, not be a Timber Marker and work with loggers, but I will still love her.
This testing was all unnecessary, but her Dr. is really young and I understand Dr.'s want to be un-liable.
Anyways, I'm less than 3 weeks away from my due date. I feel like baby wants to come on Valentines Day. I don't blame her. I could name her Valentine, but her little brother would have to be named Ender. It would solve the name-issue though.
Just to update, Brett is for Olive as much as I am for Mina. I have alot of critics for both, which makes Brett like the names more and me hesitant for both. Molly is the one we both agree equally on. But we also like Roxanna and I like Avery. Brett won't budge for me on Ariel and I won't budge on liking Belle/Bella. It is beautiful, but there are a lot baby girls named Bella these days (stupid vampire book!) kidding. But of course, what should I care? My name Rachel and it has served me well.
I can't believe with Marie I was 20lbs more at this point of the pregnancy. Water weight at it's worst! I was so miserable. It was a 103 degree summer. But I don't think I can look forward to losing 30 solid pounds in two weeks like I did with Marie just by sweating in my sleep. I think I went early with Marie because I was so big. Also I think I just "needed" her more too. My friends came to visit 1 week before she was born and they brought their adorable little baby boy, Simon. He just melted me. And then when they left my brother and sister-in-law came with my niece Beth, and literally every time she would cry I would have contractions. I just wanted a baby so bad I think I willed Marie to come out. Not to say I don't want my little nameless baby, it's just very cold outside and I understand if she wants to stay warm for a little while longer.... but not too long...

Ahhh! I'm so excited for you to have this baby!!! So, are you prepared if this baby comes out a BOY?? I would laugh so hard if it did...haha! I hope you're doing well. I will keep you and the baby in my prayers for a safe birth...SOON!
YES! I think about it all the time. I am not washing any new clothes until I see for sure.
I was glad to hear that the doctor's report was so positive. It's is nice to have peace of mind, knowing that you are doing everything for your child that you can. It's just all a part of parenthood. Everyone should be so lucky as to have a child like Marie! She's our little pint sized dynamo! Any name you pick for Marie's little sister, will be wonderful, because that will be the name I will be calling my 4th grandchild! Can't wait! WIWT.
I gotta say I like "Mina" although it has vampire connotations as well, although from a much cooler book than Twilight. From THE vampire book of vampire books. I like Molly and Avery. So many cool girl names. Have fun with that.
That's the same reason I don't like the name Bella. There are so many Bella's now because of stupid Twilight. Weird. Belle is way cute tho!
I am so excited for you to have another little girl. I'm partial to the name Molly so I vote for that :) Just enjoy the time you have alone with Marie for a little bit longer and little sister will come when she is good and ready. Maybe when she arrives you can just see what name fits her the best.
Yeah for good news! The doctors also thought Lili had Turners because she was so "puffy" at birth. I called it chubby, but whatever. I think mother's intuition has more power than anyting else. Let her be petite! is that so bad? I personally would have loved it in elementary school when I towered over all the boys as an amazon women. She just gets to be lucky!
Roxy baby. Need I say more....YES. Who here would not think it to be the coolest cousin thing to call Roxanna, Roxy when she comes over to party with us. It has the awsome-est ring to it. Crackles Snaps And Pops....
I LOVE the name Mina. It is unusual and adorable. I love everything about it. Good luck with everything and the new baby. In my experience the second one is much easier.
