(Ya know, my senior year of high school I told a woman I was going to college "somewhere in Utah" and a non-mormon lady responded "HOW INDUSTRIOUS OF YOU!"
That was cool.)
Anyways I (RACHEL) will be in town next week to look for Apartments. Bretts goal is to live close to Sandy, and my goal is to find a place with a pool. If you know of a place that can satisfy us both let us know.
In Other News - We went to Palouse Falls last Sunday with some good friends.
Apparently if you drive 2 hours into the middle of nowhere you come to a giant canyon with a sweet waterfall. On the way, however, we stopped in a little town called Starbucks because they had a notably noticable bathroom next to the road that enters their town. Also, they have a large bell that our friends kids got up on and were able to ring. We rang if for a while before I noticed the enscription on the bell which said "RING OUT THE INVITATION." Moments later a couple of large Starbuckian men came to see "wha wa goin' on?" We assured them nothin wa goin on, however I was slightly dissapointed they did not greet us with some Starbucks coffee, of which I would have gotten to turn down.

Congrats on the new post Brett, and congrats to Rachel for 2 posts in the same week.
Plus, I know a place close to Sandy with a pool, it is called White Tower. I don't think they'd mind if you just set up your tent
I didn't know anything about an Airforce position. Is that old news? What are you going to be doing? Will the job be in Utah? More news, please!
The Air Force is still new news. I'll be a Judge Advocate General (JAG) for them. Which just means I'll be a lawyer for the Air Force. It's a 4 year deal. I'm excited about a lot of it, especially how they give you a lot of experience quickly. We can be sent to any Air Force base in the world, so maybe will be in Sammamish or whatever. Or maybe we'll be in Utah, we don't know. I should find out where we'll be going sometime in September.
You are so lucky! Sammamish has like 40 AF bases. But that isn't too exciting you should opt for something cool like SWITZERLAND!
You should live in the apartments that Mike and Christen used to live in that have racquetball courts. That way we could legitimatly play racquetball without the sneakiness. Yes your top priority in apartment selection should be racquetball. Hopefully you guys will still be there in January when I might come home.
Plus, I think it has a pool, but it might not.
Glad you are finally coming back to Utah. Be sure to let me know when you get into town, so I can use you for your pool :)
Congrats on the job !!!! We hope to see you guys sometime (we are living in Idaho now :) )
for sure! i met Justin at Chads wedding and that was so long ago. I like your blog bytheway. (a true 5 for fighting fan:)!)
I hope you find lots of fun things to do in Idaho. Its such a great state. i wasn't excited to live there for the first few years.. but it wasn't long before I realized it is the shiz
